Welcome... ...to the First Congregational United Church of Christ in Crete, Nebraska. We are pleased that you have decided to check us out. There are some resources on the ministries page you might like to check out. There are many ways to get involved, or just observe some time to be still and receive. Also, stop by the sanctuary some time. Our church, founded in 1871, has a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community. We hope you will join us for service on Sunday to experience for yourself a time of sabbath in the fellowship of Christ. We strive always to be a church that works to extend the reach of Christ in our community. Our effort to do that can be seen in our events that are open to the public, our local and wider missions, and the involvement of our members in many parts of our community. Join us as we work to extend Christ's reach!

 Souper Bowl Sunday, 2012 For a number of years, now, we've celebrated our Annual Business meeting by following it with a time of fellowship over a soup making competition. This year's was a spectacular event--a dozen or show varieties of soup appeared in the kitchen on Saturday morning, along with an assortment of breads, cookies and dessert bars.
