Mission Trip to Joplin Missouri

If you have ever wanted to try doing a mission project, but weren't able to because of time or financial concerns, there is not an opportunity to participate in an important project!

CrossBridge Christian Church in Lincoln is inviting partners who are willing to help the people of Joplin, Missouri recover from the devastating tornado.  There are several opportunities available.  On February 24-26 and March 2-4, CrossBridge will be building tri-level bunk beds for the mission station being created at South Joplin Christian Church.  The beds will be used for volunteers staying at the mission station who go to help with the relief efforts.  A shop has been set up in Lincoln to construct the beds, but labor is needed to prepare and assemble the beds prior to shipment to Joplin.  Volunteers are needed to work any or all of the days.  No skill is necessary.  The work will involve power tools and is primarily designed for people who want to experience a mission trip but have not yet been able to go on one or who don't have the time to spend a whole week.

The second opportunity is a week long mission trip to Joplin to help finalize the construction of the mission station and assembly of the bunk beds.  This will include work within the community to help with the recovery efforts.  The trip will take place the week of March 10-17, but if you aren't able to go for the entire week, you are welcome to come as you are able.  All skill levels are invited to join.  The cost to cover lodging and food is $150 per person, regardless of how many days you stay.
